| Kevin C. Kaufhold Born in Belleville, Illinois, Kevin is a life-long resident of St. Clair County. He received undergraduate degrees from Southwestern Illinois College (formerly Belleville Area College) and from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. He earned his law degree from Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C. Licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois, Kevin has also litigated in the federal trial courts, the Illinois Appellate and Supreme Courts, and many federal and state administrative agencies. He is or has been member of the Illinois State Bar Association, the St. Clair County Bar Association, NENA (911), and the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans. Kevin has been chair of the Labor Law Section Council of the ISBA. Kevin maintains a general practice with a concentration in labor law, pensions, municipal law, Emergency Telephone System Board matters, personal injury and workers compensation. He has litigated precedent setting cases in handicap discrimination, retaliatory discharge, and union representation issues, as well as handling unique legal issues on emergency telephone management. Kevin is also widely published, having authored numerous articles and speaker on various legal issues. He also has a Masters Degree in Economics and Finance, and has used information gained in those fields in the legal representation of pension clients. |
